Day 1. Airport pick up

Meet and greet by our smiling professional tour/driver guide at Dar es Salaam International airport who will transfer to your hotel for overnight just for relaxation after a long journey on air.

Day 2. Transfer to Selous game reserve

Just 200 kilometers west of the city of Dar es Salaam, there is the great Selous Game Reserve which is the biggest national park in Africa. It is 4 times the size of the Serengeti; occupying over five percent of Tanzania’s area.

Fed by waters of River Rufiji, this reserve is habitat to more than one million large animals as well as home to more than half of the elephant

population in Tanzania. The Selous possesses more than 2,100 plant species, 350 bird species, 60,000 elephants, about 1,300 of the 4,000 remaining uncommon wild dogs in the worlds, and 108,000 buffalos enabling its guests to view all of these uncommon animals within an un- spoilt wilderness.

When arriving in Selous you will go for boat trip in Rufiji river to explore Hippo and Crocodiles as well as enjoying evening sunset.

Day 3. Game drive in Selous game reserve

Following the breakfast, you will go for Game Drive with a lunch box. There are huge numbers of elephant within the park. Roughly, seventy percent which is 60,000 of the total elephant population live within this reserve.

Other popular animals are the hippos about 40,000 around the river systems, decreased numbers of black rhinos, numerous buffalos – more than 160,000, wild dogs in addition to 5,000 lions.

Also, the animals living here are cheetahs, Nyasaland gnu, leopards, brindled gnu, wildebeest, hartebeest, giraffe, greater kudu, zebras, sable antelope, warthog, eland, waterbuck, reed buck, and the bushbuck. You will find more than 350 types of birds such as the southern ground hornbill, African snipe, geese, bateleur eagle, kingfishers, crested lark, herons, green-headed oriole, and knob-billed duck. Reptiles like crocodiles as well as other snakes plus lizards can also be seen.

Day 4. Game drive in Selous and heading to Mikumi

Morning after breakfast you will go for game drive while drive back to Mikumi with lunch box and enjoy the scenery through a crude road but one of the unforgotten safaris for the true traveler.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of landscape, which is dominated by hills and plains as well as part of the famous Miombo Woodlands, these varied habitats. This day you will spend the night at Camp Bastian where you will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 5. Full day game drive in Mikumi NP

Lunch will be served at Stanley Kopje a lodge inside the park. After lunch you will proceed with game drive until evening where you will be back to your Hotel for dinner and cover night

This day will be a full day game drive. So after breakfast you will start Enjoy

game drive with sunset view and watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo


Day 6. Mikumi to Dar es salaam to Zanzibar

Early in the morning possibly 6.00 am you will go for game drive to 10.00 am where you will be back to the Hotel for breakfast and later leave for Dar es salaam. You will arrive in Dar es salaam Ferry around 3.00 to 3.30 ready for the journey to Zanzibar approximately 2 Hrs by boat.

We’ll take you to see many of the important sights of Stone Town. You’ll

visit the former Slave Market, the Anglican Cathedral, the House of

Wonders, the Sultan’s Palace Museum, the Old Arab Fort – and other sites

that may be of interest to you. Our city tour is flexible and can easily be

customized to your requirements.

Before heading out on the tour we’ll pick you up at your hotel and you’ll

travel in an air-conditioned mini-van with your local guide as we explore this

historic city.

You’ll re-trace the steps of past explorers on this tour that also provides a

window into modern Stone Town life. With your guide you’ll explore the

markets, and see seafood and fish piled high, fresh loaves of bread in

wicker baskets and stacks of fruit and vegetables, as traders sell their

goods from market stalls.

An optional stop is the Zanzibar Coffee House, where you can take a rest

from the hustle and bustle and the heat. There’s a selection of drinks on

offer here, as well as local sweets and seasonal fruits – the perfect pick-me-

up before continuing on your tour! In the evening you will be back to the

Hotel for dinner and cover night.

Day 8. Snorkeling near Mnemba Island

Snorkeling in Zanzibar is regarded among the best in the world. Our sites will thrill you and give you an unforgettable experience. More than 350 different fish species are recorded here alone.

The deep water around Zanzibar attracts some of the real giants of the Indian Ocean and sometimes we see the amazing Humpback whale very close to the beaches.

Some of the most common species you should expect to see while snorkeling in Zanzibar are butterflyfish, parrotfish, clownfish, boxfish, lionfish, angelfish, stingrays and many more.

Others include turtles, dolphins, lobsters, squids, crabs, nudibranches, starfish cucumbers, sponges, shrimps, sea urchin and the list goes on. After snorkeling you will be back to the Hotel for dinner and cover night

Day 9. End of your package

This will be the last day of your package and therefore after breakfast we will drop you either Ferry or Airport according to your requirements.
