3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park, and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed year-round wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Within its 3230 sq km, it hosts buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and more, and chances are high that you’ll see a respectable sampling of these within a short time of entering the park.
Day 1. DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NP
Pick up from Airport or from your accommodation Pick up at your Hotel in Dar es salaam morning after breakfast and drive for 4 to 5 hrs which range approximately 300 km Mikumi National Park. Lunch on the way in Morogoro town. When arriving in Mikumi you will enjoy evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Safari Lodge http://www.mikumisafarilodge.net/
With 3,230 square kilometers coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania. The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffes buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed ox pecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.
Day 2. FULL GAME DRIVE IN MIKUMI
You will have early morning game drive around 6.00 am with breakfast box prepared at your Hotel. Mikumi’s vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water hole; Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop, and malachite kingfisher you will also find monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools. Lunch at Stanley Kopje Foxes http://www.stanleyskopje.com/ inside the park, during evening you will go back to your Hotel to spend a night.

Day 3. HALF DAY GAME DRIVE AND DEPART
On this day you will have early morning game viewing in the park. Mikumi’s vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water hole; Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop, and malachite kingfisher you will also find monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools. Come back to the hotel for a full breakfast and after that drive to Dar es Salaam with lunch box prepared at your Hotel. Then you will proceed with a drive straight to Dar es Salaam where the tour will end.
